TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are looking for Independent, Full-time, and Part-time Territory Sales Representatives to find business opportunities and manage customer relationships for our structures, tents, and industrial matting department in the following areas: Northeast (CT, MA, NJ, NY, PA) Southeast (AL, AR, GA, KY, LA, NC, SC, TN, WV) Midwest (IL, IN, MI, OH) Southwest (TX, OK) areas. The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales and customer service; ambitious and driven, creative, trustworthy, and dependable. Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships.

What you’ll be doing at Special Event Flooring Technology, LLC?

  • “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations, etc.).
  • Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Evaluate customers’ skills, and needs, and build productive long-lasting relationships.
  • Meet personal and team sales targets.
  • Research accounts and generates or follow through sales leads.
  • Attend meetings, sales events, and training to keep abreast of the latest developments.
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data.
  • Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within assigned territory.
  • Report on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually).
  • Present our products and services to prospective customers.
  • Answer customer questions about features, pricing, and additional services.
  • Cross-sell products, when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives from different territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach
  • Collaborates with warehouse and logistics departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
  • Resolve client complaints and inquiries.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Participate in an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What requirements you’ll need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field required; and/or 7+ sales experience with a proven track record, or a diploma in Sales techniques is a plus.
  • Must have at least 3 years of sales experience; 2+ years of direct and inside sales experience.
  • Experience working with sales volumes greater than $50,000.
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid DL License.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Self-starter who works well independently.
  • Ability to travel 25%-65%.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Thorough understanding of products and services to be sold.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
